Customer Relationship Manager
Reports to: Head of Internet

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of the company’s CRM plan.
• Increase revenue per customer though management of targeted marketing.
• Grow the customer data warehouse by constantly acquiring new personal information from customers across all MSHK businesses.
• Work with marketers across the business to ensure that every marketing plan makes use of and contributes to the customer data warehouse.
• Regulate the use of customer data to ensure that campaigns are targeted appropriately.
• Ensure that the customer data warehouse is updated from source databases on schedule.
• Ensure that all sources of customer data are included in the customer data warehouse.
• Identify key customer attributes that are valuable to MoS in improving customer relationships.
• Assist in the development of new businesses, specifically community and dating concepts.
• Devise and execute a customer loyalty programme.

Other Responsibilities:
• Management reporting of customer database KPIs.
• Improve data cleanliness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
• All other duties as required.

Experience and personal characteristics:
• Database marketing.
• Marketing degree or professional marketing qualification.
• Understanding of statistics.
• Knowledge of the data protection legislation in the UK and other key territories.
• Experience in a similar is essential.

VIP Bar Supervisor

Responsible to: Food & Beverage Manager / Senior Supervisor
Hours: Fridays & Saturday nights plus possible additional hours in week
Hourly Salary: Competitive hourly rate    

Main Responsibilities:

Pre-Opening;
• Stock ordering for your respective bar, and recording it accurately on issued paperwork
• Ensuring bar is fully stocked with drinks and fruit throughout the night
• Ensuring all bars have been set up correctly and on time
• Delegating tasks equally to all members of staff ensuring it is completed accurately
• Double check floats if needed
• Setting up the spirits

During trade;
• Monitoring staff breaks times ensuring there is an adequate amount of staff on bars throughout the night
• Ensure that the bar (s) have adequate change / stock at all times
• Oversee the general operation of the business, assisting in all areas if necessary
• Being aware of staff at all times (monitoring staff cigarette breaks; drinking behind the bar; no mobiles behind the bar)
• Safeguarding at all times the companies stocks and monies
• Helping to monitor tidiness and cleanliness of the bar and storage areas
• Enforcing all legal and licensing requirements
• Safeguarding at all times the companies stocks and monies
• Maintaining tidiness and cleanliness of all areas of the bar
• Understanding and adhering to cleaning disciplines set for all areas
• Enforcing all legal and licensing requirements

Closing;
• Ensuring bar is correctly cleaned and left tidy
• Locking fridges
• Checking glass washer is closed down fully before leaving
• Ensuring no stock is left out behind bars
• Collecting 10% tips off all staff for buss boys on a busy night

General;
• Training new staff
• Dealing with customer complaints or staff issues
• Radio for security or management if needed
• Attending all training relevant to your position especially for fire, hygiene and Health & Safety
• Responding to any other duty requested by the Manager on duty
• Ensure that any line check / bin book documentation is completed fully and accurately

UK Marketing and International Department Assistant

Reports to: Head of International/Senior Product Manager

Overview:
This position provides an excellent platform at an assistant level into the music industry. This is a busy, fun and fast paced team who are looking for a motivated, focused and driven individual who is passionate about dance music to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the UK marketing department’s  admin and accounts activity
• Assisting in the production of commercial artwork and music video
• Assisting the managing of artist promotional and marketing campaigns 
• Manage accounting activity for the team
 - To follow all MSHK financial procedures correctly and ensure that all purchase orders and invoices are processed and approved to ensure timely payment deadlines.
• Manage all deliveries - including booking all UK and International couriers and keeping a close track of costs.
• Manage the burning of CDRs for use in UK and International departments.
• Assist Senior Product Manager in approving all international compilation artwork, copy & track listings.
• Send out Masters/mixes via links or FTP to label partners or licenses.
• Order videos for International partners once invoice approval has been received.
• Manage all label copy to be used by UK and International marketing departments.
• Gather all relevant info on track/artist and send them to label

Other Responsibilities:
• Unofficially update labels on the progress of our repertoire.
• International chart compiling on weekly basis.
• Assist in compiling quarterly reports on international income.
• Maintaining essential relationships with international label partners, suppliers and internal departments.  This includes the Tours dept for any potential brand tours and central marketing for any general PR that our partners can use.
• Regularly reviewing & analysing any potential opportunities that may arise, in repertoire or any other related area.
Experience and personal characteristics:
• Commercially aware individual.
• Must have record label experience
• Related marketing/music media degree would be advantageous
• Similar marketing experience is essential
• Good attention to detail is a must with the experience of proof reading is an advantage
• High level of visual awareness
• Must be flexible to meet the requirements of the business
• Must have the ability to multi task and cope with a large and demanding work load
• Good communication skills are essential as the individual will be required to maintain business relationships with a range of people/personalities on a worldwide basis
• Creative ideas individual, fast learner organised and proactive.
• Numerate and excellent written skills.

Digital Marketing Manager
Reports to: Head of Internet

Objectives of the role:
1. Manage and coordinate online communications
2. Support sales of products and extension of the brands
3. Grow the customer database

Responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing plans:
• Analytics and business reporting – managing reporting tools, and pulling reports for different business functions, including regular reporting on standard web KPI’s
• Project Management – working between the internal resources (development/design) and external suppliers to deliver projects
• Database/ Email communication - managing the email marketing strategy for the business. Scheduling and coordinating all send-out’s
• Managing external suppliers – Service providers, PR companies, advertising agencies, research companies, etc
• Managing the social media presences and communities
• Working alongside and advising the recordings, events and product departments on best practices and conceptualising campaigns
• Managing people – Digital content coordinator (managing website content and editorial, email communications, social media)
• Working closely with the business development team in generating opportunities and partnerships across the business
• Writing and overseeing marketing plans for product launches, website content strategy and digital communications
• Grow the customer database through data capture at all possible points, working in conjunction with the CRM manager
• Support the Web manager in the drive to increase revenues through online sales, and coordination with mobile marketing manager

Experience and personal characteristics needed:
1. Marketing degree or relative qualification (focus on analysis and interpretation of data)
2. Extensive experience in online/digital marketing – in an agency side or client side capacity
3. Interest in and understanding of the music industry, especially electronic music
4. First-hand experience in a retail environment
5. Understanding of eCRM practices
6. Experience in multi-channel marketing (online and off-line)
7. Knowledge of digital marketing using mobile, widgets and desktop gadgets
8. Knowledge of Photoshop, HTML, CMS systems, analytics tools and reporting dash boards
9. Knowledge of UK data legislation

Freelance paid positions for TV:

These positions will be dependent on projects that need to be carried out.
A minimum of 1 week is required for each.

Salary: This will be dependent on each project.

Assist in the production of on-Line TV Graphics and In House Motion Graphics production.
This will include TV Adverts, promos, online adverts, idents and intros.

Must have excellent skills in:
Photoshop
Illustrator
After Effects
Good skills in either Final Cut Pro or Premiere
Knowledge of 3D software is a plus but not a requirement.

Applicant must have a good workflow, and be confident with getting on with the job in hand. 
This will include preparing layers for the animation process, as well as the actual animation process, rotoscoping, basic use of expressions etc.

PR Intern

Ministry of Sound is looking for PR/journo student to come and join our amazing young team for the summer months as an intern.

Ideally looking to recruit a student who has an interest in dance music, loves to write, can work on own initiative and has great attention to detail.

• Research of new artists playing at the club – pull together DJ biog, charts, current pics
• Source new media to use for securing club press

Work shadowing and Work Placement opportunities available at Ministry of Sound.

We are always willing to give people the opportunity of training here at Ministry of Sound and an introduction to the music and media industries.
These placements will be unpaid but we will cover the cost of travel and lunch per day.
